A Real German 4G Mobile Proxy That Sites Actually Trust

A 4G mobile proxy from Germany routes your traffic through a real German mobile carrier connection, so the target site sees a German 4G IP instead of a datacenter range. GermanProxy.io runs its own devices in Germany and hands out genuine carrier IPs behind CGNAT — 5G where coverage allows, 4G as fallback, with average speeds between 35 and 80 Mbps. See plans →

Why teams trust it

  • Trustpilot 4.8/5 from 55 reviews.
  • Registered EU provider with a full Impressum — not an anonymous reseller.
  • HTTP, SOCKS5 and OpenVPN (UDP) — use socks5h if you want remote DNS resolution.
  • Real German carrier IPs from our own hardware in Germany, not relabelled hosting subnets.

The problem: datacenter IPs are the first thing that gets filtered

Most blocks do not start with your headers or your timing. They start with your ASN. Hosting ranges are published, easy to classify, and shared by thousands of automated clients. A price page served to an AWS IP is often a different page than the one a shopper in Hamburg sees — or no page at all.

The second problem is regional truth. If you need to know what German users actually see, a proxy that merely claims a German location is not enough. Geo-pricing, local inventory, language defaults, consent banners and ad slots all key off the real network the request comes from.

4G carrier IPs solve both. They sit behind CGNAT, which means a single public IPv4 address is shared by many legitimate mobile subscribers at once. Blocking it hits real customers. That raises the cost of a hard block and is exactly why mobile IPs behave differently from datacenter ranges.

The fix: a real German 4G mobile proxy is usually enough

For most data work, 4G is not a compromise. The value of a mobile proxy comes from the IP type and the carrier network, not from raw throughput. A 4G German IP is just as much a CGNAT carrier IP as a 5G one, and it is region-true in the same way.

Our endpoints connect over 5G where coverage allows and fall back to 4G otherwise. In practice you get 35–80 Mbps on average, which is well above what HTML scraping, SERP checks or API calls need. If your workload is heavy on media — video, large asset downloads, high-concurrency sessions — the extra headroom of 5G starts to matter. We break down the trade-offs in 4G vs 5G mobile proxies.

The other decision is dedicated versus shared. A dedicated connection means the IP and the full bandwidth belong to you, with sticky sessions and IP rotation on demand. Shared plans are the cheaper way in and work fine for lighter, less sensitive jobs. See dedicated vs shared mobile proxies for how to pick.

One honest note: mobile latency is real. Round trips over a carrier network are slower than over fibre to a datacenter. Rotation also takes a few seconds, because the device has to re-establish the carrier session. Rotate between batches, not per request.

How it works

  1. Pick a connection. Choose a dedicated connection or a shared plan, and a short term if you just want to test the setup first.
  2. Connect. You get credentials for HTTP, SOCKS5 or OpenVPN (UDP). Point your scraper, browser profile or device at the endpoint — no SIM or device access is involved on your side; this is an IT routing service.
  3. Run and rotate. Sessions stay sticky as long as you need them. Trigger IP rotation on demand between batches when you want a fresh German carrier IP.

Built for data work

  • Web scraping with German mobile proxies — region-true HTML, sticky sessions, controlled rotation.
  • E-commerce and price monitoring — see the prices, stock and shipping options German shoppers see.
  • SERP tracking from a German consumer network instead of a hosting range.
  • Ad verification and creative checks on German carrier traffic.
  • Mobile app testing against a real German mobile connection.

Pricing

Pricing is a flat fee per dedicated connection. There is no per-GB metering, so your cost does not move with your crawl volume. Fair use is 20 GB per day per connection, which covers normal scraping and monitoring workloads comfortably. Shared plans are available as a cheaper entry point, and short plan durations let you test before committing. Current prices are live in the shop.

FAQ

What is a 4G mobile proxy?

It is a proxy that routes your requests through a device connected to a 4G mobile network. The target site sees the carrier’s IP address — a CGNAT address shared with ordinary mobile subscribers — instead of your server’s IP.

Is 4G fast enough for scraping and SERP tracking?

Yes. Our endpoints average 35–80 Mbps, which is far more than text-based scraping, SERP checks or API calls consume. Latency is higher than on a datacenter connection, so design for batches rather than ultra-low-latency single requests.

When should I choose 5G instead?

When bandwidth is the bottleneck: video, large media downloads, or many parallel heavy sessions. Our endpoints use 5G where coverage allows anyway and fall back to 4G, so you are not locked out of either.

Are these real German carrier IPs?

Yes. We operate our own devices in Germany and the IPs come from German mobile carriers via CGNAT. Customers do not get SIM or device access — it is a routing service.

How fast can I rotate the IP?

Rotation is available on demand and takes a few seconds to complete. Trigger it between job batches rather than on every request.

Is using a German mobile proxy legal?

Mobile proxies are used for legitimate purposes such as market research, price monitoring, SERP tracking, ad verification and app testing. Stay with publicly accessible, non-personal data, respect platform terms of service and GDPR obligations. This is not legal advice — check your own use case.
