Infrastructure & Technology

  • All connections are routed exclusively through our German partner data center (Hetzner, Falkenstein/Nuremberg)
  • Clients do not receive direct access to devices, SIM cards, or mobile services
  • All devices are owned and operated entirely by GermanProxy.io from Hannover, Germany
  • Devices are automatically reset daily to prevent persistent connections
  • No voice services, no SMS functionality, no VoIP/SIP relay

Legal Framework

GermanProxy.io operates as a mere conduit / access provider within the meaning of § 8 DDG (Digital Services Act implementation, formerly § 8 TMG) and Art. 12 of the E-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC. Specifically:

  • The Provider does not initiate transmissions
  • The Provider does not select the recipients of transmissions
  • The Provider does not modify the information contained in the transmissions
  • The Provider does not resell mobile services and is not a telecommunications mediation service within the meaning of § 3 No. 65 TKG
  • An optional Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is available for enterprise clients whose use case involves processing personal data of third parties
